Our breakfast is a celebration of the finest produce that Devon and Cornwall have to offer. Our menu is filled with delicious unpretentious food lovingly prepared fresh to order and made with seasonal ingredients selected from our local suppliers.

This dedication to quality and provenance has been recognized by the prestigious Taste of the West, awarding us Gold in 2024.

Full Cornish Breakfast

A choice of the best local sausages and bacon, hoggs pudding and black pudding, plus all the usual items and rotating specials such as bubble and squeak or fried bread

Whole Kipper

A delicious whole kipper from the St Ives Smoke House. Smoked in the traditional way with no artificial colours or flavours. Simply grilled with grated apple, served with mushrooms, roast tomato and a perfect poach egg.

Pain aux Raisin

A classic Pain aux Raisin full of juicy raisins, served warm from the oven

Belgian waffle

Freshly made Belgian waffle. Served with an indulgent dollop of greek yoghurt, seasonal fruits and berries and a little jug of maple syrup.

Smoked salmon and avocado

A slice of toasted crusty sourdough smothered in crushed avocado with a squeeze of lemon. Layered with superb local smoked salmon and topped off with a perfect poached egg.

Grilled steak served on crushed sauteed potatoes and a fried egg

Pears baked with maple syrup and vanilla topped with home made nutty granola. All with a side of creamy Greek yoghurt.

Scrambled Eggs with sourdough toast. Our eggs come from Ventonwyn Farm in Tregony. The hens are free to forage on grassland in the sunshine. Their natural diet is supplemented with marigold petals to enrich the golden yolks.
