Sustainability
We want to play our part in creating a sustainable future for the younger generations in this beautiful part of Cornwall. Here are some of the things we do and don't do.

-
We do not use use single use plastics.
-
In the rooms there are refillable soap and lotion dispensers, and the chilled water and milk bottles are reusable glass.
-
You will never be served individual portions of food in sealed sachets, foil wrapping or plastic tubs.
-
We use local food growers and suppliers, we also grow our own herbs and garnish.
-
Energy saving LED lighting is used throughout the building.
-
The use of paper and printing is avoided by communicating on-line with our guests.
-
We have an Electric Vehicle Charger in the carpark.
-
The toilet paper is made from bamboo pulp with no plastic packaging.
-
Food waste is minimised by using a pre-order system.
-
Waste that can't be avoided is recycled wherever possible.
-
Our huge gas cooker hob has been replaced with an electric induction type.
-
We buy electricity which has been primarily generated from wind, solar and hydro sources.
