Terms & Conditions

The following Terms and Conditions apply to bookings at Boscastle House, Boscastle, Cornwall PL35 0AS.

Please do not hesitate to ring if you have any concerns or queries.

Key Points

  • We require a deposit of 20% to secure reservations.  If you cancel your booking with 14 or more days’ notice, we will refund the deposit.

  • For no shows or booking curtailments we will charge the full amount.

  • We are an adult only establishment so we are unable to accommodate children or pets.  If you arrive with a child or pet we will make every effort to book you in elsewhere, but will retain your deposit.

Details

  • All accommodation is offered subject to availability at time of receipt of deposit and at the tariffs applicable.

  • Arrival is between 16:00 and 18:00.  We will try to accommodate alternative times if you advise us beforehand.

  • Rooms must be vacated by 10:30 on day of departure.

  • We cannot accept responsibility for the loss of guests' property.

  • Accounts must be paid before departure and cheques will only be accepted if prior arrangements have been made with us to allow for bank clearance.

  • All major credit/debit cards are accepted, except for American Express.

  • We provide complimentary on-site parking to guests, subject to availability.  Cars and their contents are parked entirely at the car owners' risk.

  • Boscastle House is a strictly non-smoking establishment anywhere in the building.  Should you smoke in your room, our fire system will activate and we will charge a fee of £100.00 to your debit/credit card for having to undertake a deep clean of your room.

  • We reserve the right to charge for any damages, accidents or loss of keys that occur during the stay.

  • We reserve the right to amend, curtail or terminate any contract should the conduct of any person who is party to that contract cause any detriment to the well-being of other guests.

  • We do not tolerate racist, sexist, homophobic or otherwise discriminatory language or behaviour and we reserve the right to terminate a booking on receipt of a complaint. Please contact the owners as soon as possible if you have an issue with the behaviour of a fellow guest.

  • We will use our best efforts to return any items left behind by a guest after their stay, but reserve the right to recoup any costs incurred by Boscastle House.

  • Boscastle House expect your room and the front door of the property to be closed at all times. We request that all guests follow this safety and security measure.
